R. W. “Randy” Brooks is a native of East Tennessee and graduated from Central High School in Knoxville and the University of Tennessee School of Law. Upon graduation from law school Randy availed himself of an opportunity to be associated with one of the area’s leading manufacturing firms. Mr. Brooks’ association with the company ended when he assisted in facilitating a sale of the company to a large publically traded multi-facetted holding company. While with the manufacturing plant Randy acquired considerable experience not only in the operation and efficient management of a company but gained a significant understanding of personal relationships and client expectations. Specifically that for the most part it is the attorney’s belief that clients desire an honest assessment of their issue, practical advice concerning resolution of the problem, cost of litigation verses anticipated gain and exploration of alternate settlement options. Simply stated a happy client is a client with a closed file. For the past 40 years Randy has been engaged in the active practice of law in Sevier and surrounding counties and in doing so has assisted with the acquisition and sale of business interests, recovery in individual personal injury matters exceeding one million dollars, sale and purchase of high value development property, settlement or litigation of child custody issues, distribution of marital assets and alimony questions, as well as litigation of construction and lien issues.
